I once had a Chinese-made ‘smartphone’ that had 3 large speakers and a front camera. This was back in 2010, when Chinese smartphones had a considerable influence on the Indian market. These phones overcompensated in the features department to hide their Chinese brand. After taking a peek at Samsung Galaxy S11 Plus renders, I think that period of overcompensation is coming back.

The leaks of Samsung Galaxy S11 Plus’s graphical representations suggest that the phone will feature a punch hole camera with an adjacent sensor equipped with laser autofocus for better pictures. The other three cameras will have a configuration of 108MP + 13MP + 8MP with 5X zoom. It’s probable that the advanced cameras will support QHD+ shots along with 8K video recording.

Samsung Galaxy S11 series designs are similar to Samsung Galaxy 10. Reports say that the phone will boast a 6.9-inch notchless curved display. Moreover, there may be an in-display fingerprint sensor tucked underneath a dynamic AMOLED panel. This phone has super-slim bezels like Samsung Galaxy S10, as denoted in the CAD designs.

The standard Samsung Galaxy S11 model may encase an Exynos 9 Octa 990 processor in a 166.9 x 76 x 8.8 mm metallic body. Buttons for power and volume are situated at the right edge of the phone’s metal frame. The bottom of the phone is reserved for Type-C charging port and speakers.

The smartphone’s size and features give me a feeling that it could be heavy. It has just the right thickness though, not slim enough to slip from your hand and not too thick to make your pocket bulgy. The phone will likely release in February 2020. Till then, let’s take a look at Xiaomi’s new patent.
