I never thought that an app I despise so much, would have a smartphone built around it. ByteDance, the developer of TikTok, recently released Jianguo Pro 3 (loosely translated as Nut Pro 3), a flagship-grade smartphone that runs on Snapdragon 855 Plus. Jianguo Pro 3 is currently sold in the Chinese market for 2,899 Yuan, which corresponds approximately to Rs 29,051. It is available under the Smartisan brand.

TikTok is available in China as Douyin (抖音). Users can access the app on Jianguo Pro 3 directly from the lock screen. Jianguo Pro 3’s native camera app comes with stock special effects and filters that are available on TikTok. On the app, they are only applicable to 60-second videos, yet on the phone, the filters can be applied to videos of any length.

The product page for Jianguo Pro 3 on the Smartisan website suggests three different versions on the phone, viz., 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. This phone features a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen as well. Hardware-level security is installed with an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The phone has a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor for rear camera, boasting an aperture of f/1.75, a 13MP ultra-wide sensor, 8MP telephoto lens, and a 5MP super-macro lens. The selfie camera on the front has a resolution of 20MP, which is better in comparison to a lot of contemporary Chinese smartphones.

Jianguo Pro 3 platform is featured through Smartisan OS 3.0, which is based on Android 9 (Pie). The entire smartphone system is juiced up by a 4,000 mAh battery that supports Quick Charge. The phone is available in China in Mushroom Green, White, and Black.

If you happen to be a TikTok star, you should wait for this smartphone to release in India, as it will help you test out your videos freely before you upload them on the app.
